1. Purpose and authority
Cozy Counter is an offline order book for small shops. Use it only if legally able to agree to these terms, or with the permission local law requires. If using it for a business, you must be authorized to manage that business’s records. The app records orders, stock, deposits and payments you enter; it does not collect money from your customers or provide a banking, tax, accounting or legal certification service. Check records against actual transactions and obligations.
2. Optional Lifetime Premium
The Free plan provides the features and limits shown in the app. When offered, optional Lifetime Premium is a one-time upgrade, not a recurring subscription, with no scheduled entitlement expiry. The purchase screen identifies included features; this draft does not invent new Free limits or paid products. Use Restore with the purchasing Google Play account and an internet connection. A verified lifetime licence can work offline and can be rechecked online. Refunded or revoked purchases do not retain paid access; shop records remain under the Free plan.
3. Customer records, exports and continuity
You choose the customer and business details you enter and must have a lawful basis for keeping or sharing them. Shop records stay locally; Cozy Counter has no app account or shop-data cloud sync. Exported CSV, backups, order slips and reports may include personal or commercial data, so check recipients and keep copies securely. Android backup or transfer is separate and depends on system settings. Purchase access is separate from your shop backup. Maintain independent records for important transactions; an export is not a guarantee that another accounting or invoicing system will accept it.
4. Use and licence
These terms govern the Android app identified above. You receive a non-exclusive licence to use the app and included content for its intended purpose. You retain your rights in records and material you create. App artwork, music, code and licensed content remain with their respective owners; the licence does not permit extracting or reselling them. Do not use the app unlawfully, distribute access credentials or interfere with the service. These restrictions do not remove exceptions or rights that the law gives you.
5. Google Play purchases and refunds
Where an offer is available, Google Play shows the product, total price, currency, billing period if applicable, and relevant purchase conditions before you confirm. No purchase is made by reading these terms. Google processes payment; we do not receive your card number. For a purchase problem, contact our support or use Google Play refund help. Eligibility depends on the purchase and applicable law. These terms do not impose a blanket no-refund rule or waive mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, conformity or other consumer rights. Deleting local app data does not itself refund a purchase.
6. Privacy and your records
The linked app-specific Privacy Policy explains local data, optional network features, purchase verification and providers. These terms do not introduce consent to new data collection. Keep appropriate copies of important records using the actual export or backup features described below. Uninstalling or clearing app storage can remove local data. Copies you export remain wherever you save or share them. Restore purchases restores eligible purchase access, not your app records. Never send passwords, access codes, full purchase tokens, payment-card details or unrelated personal files in routine support messages.
7. Temporary test and review access
Invitation, tester or reviewer access, when offered, is temporary and separate from a paid entitlement. Its stated expiry and access conditions apply; it is not a purchase or a promise of permanent Premium. Ending temporary access does not transfer ownership of your records to us. A test build may disable new purchases. Do not buy again merely to resolve a test-access problem; contact support.
8. Quality, changes and remedies
We will provide the app with reasonable care and address reproducible faults reported to support. Devices, operating-system restrictions and network services can affect operation; uninterrupted availability or a particular personal or business result is not guaranteed. This does not excuse a failure to meet legally required quality, security, update or remedy obligations. Updates may improve or correct the app. We will explain material changes affecting paid access and give notice and remedies required by law; these terms are not a right to withdraw an existing paid entitlement arbitrarily or impose a new recurring fee without consent.
9. Your legal rights and disputes
Nothing here excludes liability, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights relating to fraud, serious misconduct, personal injury, defective digital content or consumer protection. The law and courts that have mandatory jurisdiction remain available to you. These terms require neither compulsory arbitration nor a waiver of collective or other statutory remedies. Contact support first if you want help resolving a problem; doing so is not a condition that removes a legal right.
